After 62 years in the business, Howard has left a great impression on both television and radio with a long trail of audio, and a behind-the-scenes presence that has been heard and felt by millions of listeners. Best known for his daily intro to the NBC Nightly News with Chancellor, Brokaw and Williams, Howard has infiltrated the living rooms of generations of viewers with a career spanning the history of television itself.

Howard passed away Monday, November 11th in Venice Florida. He was loved by many, and will be greatly missed. He was 87 years old.
